Deadline 30 October

Do you (or does your organisation) have a non-fiction book that you would like to write? The Academic and Non-Fiction Authors’ Association of South Africa (ANFANSA) has announced a call for applications of grants ranging from R20 000 to R25 000 to enable authors to take time out in order to write and/or research their books. Note that the grants do not cover publishing costs. An independent committee will assess the applications and select the most deserving. There are only two criteria for eligibility: membership of ANFASA and the desire to complete the writing of a general non-fiction or academic work for publication in book form. Authors who are not  members of ANFASA may join on submission of their applications.

Visit http://www.anfasa.org.za to download the application form or e-mail a request for a form to  info@anfasa.org.za.
